Xpert Wedding came to us with a client planning a very lavish style look to her wedding day. They needed a bridal riser with a twist. They were wanting to extend out from the bridal riser into a catwalk style stage the length of the guests tables. We suggested a custom white sleek stage to compliment their gold, pink and white theme.
How we helped
Along with the wedding planner, we conducted a site inspection and immediately recognised that the venue, Curzon Hall, was a heritage listed site. Wanting to build ontop of the beautiful marble flooring made the venue nervous and extremely reluctant. In addition the bridal riser was being built on top of an existing slightly raised stage like level, and the catwalk extension had to be exactly the same height appearing to make our job tricky. With the experience of our team and little planning the multi levelled flooring was not obstacle to give our client the outcome they were hoping for.
The Result
With custom made Poly-eurothane feet the venues concerns in relation to scratching or rubber scuff marks on the heritage floor vanished and the bride and groom were delighted to get exactly what they envisaged on their wedding day.
On the day of the wedding we had a strict time limit as we needed to work around multiple suppliers who relied on us to install before they could decorate on top of the stage.
The result was more than what the client expected.
